Make something beautiful for your garden!
In this 2-day beginner class, students will mosaic a 12” X 12” concrete steppingstone using colorful, stained glass and glass tile. We will cover all the steps of mosaic creation, from design, tool use, cutting and shaping stained glass, setting, using silicone, grouting and sealing. We will look at Mid Century Modern designs of the 1940’s-1960’s for inspiration, or you can bring your own designs. We also have design templates for your use if you’re short on inspiration! Use of tools, steppingstones, stained glass, glass tile, adhesive and grout are included.
On Sunday students will grout their steppingstones and leave with a finished mosaic for the garden! Great for beginners, no art or mosaic experience necessary.
