Basic Andamento: The Magic of Flow

Service Description

Saturday October 7th 10am – 4pm $100, materials included. Instructor: Ilse Cordoni Andamento refers to the "course" or lines that tesserae are laid in to make up a mosaic. Andamento was developed in harmony with the natural way our eyes perceive form and line. In this beginning workshop students will learn the basics of classical andamento and how it is used in mosaic. Students will use construction paper tesserae to complete the various andamento patterns and will see a Powerpoint presentation of pattterns in use. Students will leave with an understanding of andamento that will improve mosaics of all kinds going forward.

Cancellation Policy

If the class or workshop does not reach a minimum of students then the workshop will be cancelled. You will receive a full refund. If you withdraw 30 days prior to the beginning of the class or workshop you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.  If you withdraw from the workshop between 8 days - 29 days prior to the beginning you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee only if we can fill your spot with another student.  Sorry, there will be no refunds if you give us a notice of less than 8 days.
