Give that china a second life in a one-of-a-kind piece of art! Pique Assiete is the art that incorporates broken dishes and found objects into a mosaic design. In this 2-day class, we will use the broken bits and pieces to create a new whole on a terra cotta flower pot. We will cover substrate preparation, adhesives, cutting and setting as well as grouting and finishing the piece. No mosaic experience necessary, this is a perfect class for beginners! All terra cotta pots and materials are provided, but feel free to bring those broken dishes you haven’t been able to throw away! Join us for a fun weekend of repurposing and transforming broken dishes into new, colorful keepsakes.
